Alena Neudert studied chemistry at the Julius-Maximilians-University of Würzburg (Germany). During her master studies, she completed an internship at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot (Israel), where she worked for another year on a project about chiral electrochromic materials.

Since April 2024, Alena Neudert has been working as a research assistant in the group of Prof. Dr. Christina Roth at the Chair of Electrochemical Process Engineering at the University of Bayreuth. Alena's research topic focuses on iron redox flow batteries (IRFB).
