Two in one go: two successful PhD defences in a single week!

The LSWV had reason to celebrate: within the space of a week, two PhD students successfully defended their theses. We congratulate Dr Tilo Held and Dr Mina Attia on successfully completing their doctorates.
Naturally, this special achievement was celebrated in style: at a glittering party, colleagues, friends and long-standing companions raised a toast to this special occasion together with the newly qualified doctors.
We share in the joy of our new PhD graduates and wish them all the best, every success and many exciting challenges as they continue on their academic and personal journeys.
