Participation in the workshop ‘Construction of redox-flow battery cells’ at Schmalz GmbH

On Thursday, 2 July 2026, Anshuman Gupta and Stefan Hofmann took part in a workshop organised by Schmalz GmbH in Glatten on the topic of ‘Construction of redox-flow battery cells’. As part of the workshop, cells were manufactured and taken through to the battery testing stage. The excellent combination of theory and practice led to a fruitful exchange between participants from the University of Bayreuth, ICT Pfinztal and staff at Schmalz GmbH. It was a chance to experience first-hand how passionate engineers are about their fields and new developments – and to take that enthusiasm home with us!
