Challenges on the Renewable Energy Storage in Czech Republic
From 29 June to 2 July 2026, a symposium entitled “Challenges in Renewable Energy Storage”, jointly organised by the Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society and the J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry, took place at the historic Liblice Castle (Czech Republic). Prof. Christina Roth presented her team’s latest work in a talk entitled ‘Challenges in Operando Synchrotron XAS Studies in the Light of Beam Damage and Transient Phenomena’. The event brought together leading scientists from the fields of electrocatalysis and heterogeneous catalysis and provided an excellent setting for lively interdisciplinary (and, with summer temperatures exceeding 35 degrees, also heated) discussions.
