Dr Monja Schilling (BASF) visits the LSWV

On 29 April 2026, we were delighted to welcome Dr Monja Schilling from BASF to the LSWV.
In her seminar presentation, “From nanometres to tonnes: A journey from optimising vanadium redox flow batteries to large-scale production plants”, she provided fascinating insights into the journey from electrochemical optimisation at the nanometre scale to large-scale production facilities. The presentation highlighted current challenges and potential solutions at the interface between research and industrial implementation.
