First visit of the new year: guests from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg at LSWV
On 7 and 8 January 2026, we welcomed guests from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg and the Swedish Electricity Storage and Balancing Centre to the LSWV: In our seminar, Prof. Anna Martinelli gave a fascinating insight into her research on ionic liquids and their application in the energy sector with her presentation ‘Spectroscopic and imaging methods to study proton exchange electrolytes and electrode materials used in PEM devices’. Prof. Daniel Weber then presented the latest findings from his research group in his lecture entitled ‘Sustainable Energy Materials: Monolayered Catalysts & Batteries from Secondary Sources’.
In addition to the lectures, there were many interesting discussions with colleagues and, of course, lab tours were also on the agenda. Thank you to Ehsan Emamjomeh for guiding us through the Keylab BayBatt Cell Technology Centre.
