Network meeting of Humboldtians in Bayreuth – visit to the LSWV institute
On 13 November 2025, we welcomed 27 scholarship holders to our Faculty of Engineering as part of the Humboldtian network meeting. Prof. Christina Roth (Chair of Electrochemical Process Engineering) opened the visit with an overview of the university and our faculty. This was followed by five exciting specialist presentations from a wide range of engineering fields, which led to a lively scientific discussion.The subsequent tour of our laboratories and the Keylab BayBatt Cell Technology Centre (thanks to Ehsan Emamjomeh) offered our international guests interesting insights into current research projects. But there was also plenty of opportunity for networking during the joint trip to the Bayreuth canteen – initial friendships were formed and hopefully we will see each other again soon in the ‘Humboldt family’.
