From September 7 to 12, 2025, ISE Electrochemistry took place in Mainz under the motto 'From Basic Insights to Sustainable Technologies.' With over 2,300 visitors, it was the largest ISE Electrochemistry conference to date.

Prof. Christina Roth was part of the conference organizing committee and was responsible, among other things, for organizing the 'Forum', a platform where experts and participants could exchange ideas on various topics and share their experiences. The 'Forum' was very well received and was definitely a highlight of the conference.

Mina Attia, Carl Hartwig, Phillip Hawe, Tilo Held, Sven Hörnig, and Laís Vernasqui presented their results in the form of a poster during the well-attended poster sessions. Jing Guo, Bruna Lobo, and Alena Neudert presented their research in a presentation. All of them received good feedback, had many interesting conversations, and gained valuable insights into their research.

In addition to the opportunity to present their research results, everyone also actively participated in the conference as helpers, thus gaining an insight “behind the scenes.”

Attending ISE Electrochemistry was an exciting and educational experience, not only expanding their research skills but also allowing them to make many new contacts and expand their networks. The week in Mainz was an unforgettable success, and we are already looking forward to the next opportunity to present our research results.
