Visit by Prof. Aaron Marshall to the University of Bayreuth

From September 15 to 19, 2025, we welcomed Prof. Aaron Marshall from the University of Canterbury to the University of Bayreuth. Prof. Marshall is an internationally recognized expert in the field of energy and hydrogen technologies.
During his stay, he led the workshop “Hybrid Tutorial - Electrochemical Characterization of Porous Electrodes,” gave an exciting lecture “From Bulk Copper to Gas-Diffusion Electrodes for CO2 Reduction” as part of the Collaborative Research Center (SFB), and held numerous stimulating discussions with scientists at our university. In addition to the scientific exchange, there was also time for some private sightseeing, during which Prof. Marshall was able to get to know the city of Bayreuth better.
