The LSWV contributes to the PRiME 2024 meeting in Hawaii (6th-11th October)
The Pacific Rim Meeting (PRiME 2024) on electrochemical and solid-state science took place this year in the vibrant city of Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. The meeting offered indeed a nice opportunity to discuss plenty of topics, from batteries and energy storage to corrosion science and technology, all the way to organic and bioelectrochemistry.
The LSWV chair presented two contributions to the conference: the first one was by Dr. Bruna Lobo who presented her poster “Analyzing platinum catalyst degradation in fuel cells using accelerated stress tests and X-ray absorption spectroscopy” and the second contribution was by Dr. Carlos Lobo, who presented a talk about his work “Bi-metallic Fe-Mo films deposited via Dynamic Hydrogen Bubble Templating (DHBT) for the electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction to ammonia”.
Both contributions were well received by the audience and incentivized some good discussions that generated exciting ideas for the future of the projects.
