Participation at the 75th Annual Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry
In August, the 75th Annual Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE) was held in Montreal, Canada.
In this thriving French-inspired city, more than 1000 scientists gathered to discuss their latest findings in "Electrochemistry - Science and Technology for a Sustainable and Better Planet".
Prof Christina Roth and Dr Ramee Jalan from our team took part in Symposium 15 "Advances in methods for in-situ and operando study of electrochemical interfaces and systems" and presented their recent work on high temperature fuel cells. In fact, their oral presentations on new methods in operando X-ray absorption spectroscopy for elucidating activation and poisoning mechanisms in Pt electrocatalysts were very well received. So they celebrated their success with a night out in downtown Montreal with dear colleagues from different countries.
