Electrochemical Process Engineering
Jing Guo got her PhD at the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2016. During her doctoral research, she studied Selenium cathode materials with different morphology and microstructures for Li-Se batteries and solid state electrolytes as separator for Li-S batteries. She spent a year after that at the University of New South Wales in Sydney in 2016-2017, where she worked as a postdoc and was responsible for establishing the pouch cell assembly line and Li-S battery research. From 2017 to 2019, she worked at the Leibniz Institute of Solid State Materials and Research Dresden as a Postdoc. She helped complete the pouch cell assembly line and did research on Si anodes in lithium ion batteries.
Since 01.03.2024 she joined Prof. Christina Roth’s group. She is currently working on the layered oxide materials as cathode for sodium ion batteries, where the structural evolution of cathode materials during sodiation/desodiation and oxygen redox chemistry will be the main focus.
